Zhangjiajie has recently become pretty famous for the scenery shown in the movie, Avatar, where they decided to erase the ‘bottoms’ of the quartz-sandstone pillars. Pine Trees
Here are 4 small watercolours of a road running through some pine trees near Lothair (close to Ermelo), Mpumalanga. The reference photos for these were actually taken some years back when Mom exhibited some paintings in Ermelo and we stayed with family near Lothair.
