Chinese Calligraphy

A friend asked me to paint them some Chinese Calligraphy. This was a fun challenge having NEVER done it before. …and no, I can’t read or write chinese either. Anyway, I downloaded a chinese bible and looked up the verses with some bible software.

Upon further reflection of the verses I don’t think I realised the connection between the two way back in 2005. God’s word is a endless well of delight!

A Bible verse of Matthew 11:30 which says "For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." written in chinese calligraphy and next to it a painting of some bamboo.
